Hey, I'm Georgie
I am a poet, illustrator and free spirit.
My christian faith is infused into my writing and I adore encouraging others to spill from the soul and write. As someone who is sensitive, I have known the struggle of censoring my fears, questioning whether I belong, along with the confidence to persist.
Writing is a calling and it can be hard to persevere, when you may not have the community, the belief or the courage;
but please know you belong here.Â
Your words matter.
Your voice has impact.
Lets explore together.
'Perhaps this is the moment for which you have been created.'
- Esther 4:14
Â
I know what it feels like to wonder where is my voice in the noise?
I'm the quiet, contemplative type who loves listening to people's stories.
I write about raw expressions of self and spirit, faith in the fractures and the joy of being in relationship with Jesus, whom I adore.

Whether you are someone with or without faith, I would love to hear from you.

I publish my poetry on Substack, where I engage with other writers.
If this is something that is new to you, or you feel afraid of starting your own, I can help with that. Please share your work with me.

About Me

I offer 1:1 mentoring sessions to support you with your writing.
Whether you have a work in progress, an idea in mind or perhaps do not know where to start; I can help you.

Every writer and their journey is unique, so the support I give is  tailored to you.
Â
Â
An overview of what I offer includes:
Â

Encouragement to  overcome writing blocks. We all experience seasons where the words don't flow and we feel stuck.
Together we can be curious and work out what energizes you to write.

Â
A helping hand with the set-up of your Substack publication (if you wish to start one).

Tools to break down your writing into manageable chunks. Perhaps even creating a visual journal, illustrate  collect ephemera, moodboards, creating prompts and identifying theme words. As someone who is neurodiverse, this can be highly beneficial and prevents overwhelm.

Recommended reading/materials/resources to spark inspiration. Scripture, a conversation, an essay, music, food, memory or a painting can open a new lens through which we see the everyday.
Â
Â
Different mediums and our sensory experiences can encourage ventures into experiments with form and voice.Â
We might explore recurring themes in your work and unearth new terrain to explore.Â
